Nicholas Hoult became a father to twins last year, Pete Davidson has let slip.

The 36-year-old actor and his wife Bryana Holly were known to be parents to a seven-year-old son and another child who was born in 2022, and it has now been revealed that they have further expanded their family.

Promoting their movie How to Rob a Bank, Pete told Entertainment Tonight: "Nicholas is a 'great dad, father of four. Four under what, seven? Which is nuts.'"

Nicholas smiled and nodded as he said: "Yeah, yeah."

Pete then referenced the Skins actor's twins while discussing how his then-partner Elsie Hewitt was pregnant with their daughter Scottie, now 11 months, at the time Nicholas was flying home for weekends to spend time with his newborns.

Pete said: "Elsie was pregnant while we were filming and [Nicholas] just had his twins.

"He would fly back every weekend to go see his family, and that was very inspiring and awesome."

There had been speculation about Nicholas and Bryana's growing family earlier this year when the 33-year-old model hit back at critics for body-shaming her over her plunging dress at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March.

Hitting out at "the comments around my chest", she explained her appearance was "the product of a breastfeeding mother who hasn't fed her babies in hours."

She added: "If you know then you know. You are not owed an explanation."

The couple keep their relationship very private, but in 2024, the 36-year-old actor confirmed they had got married.

Nicholas called his model partner his wife while sharing her reaction to a scary scene in his horror film Nosferatu.

He told E! News on the red carpet: "Afterwards, I remember I had my wife's nails imprinted on my hand.

"I was like, 'Oh my gosh, this was tense.'"

Later in the week, he was asked to clarify his marital status.

Asked if his comments meant he was married, he told People magazine: "I think it's fairly clear."

"I feel like it's fairly from my comments."

The About a Boy star previously reflected that he became more "playful" when he became a father.

Asked how parenthood changed him, he told Entertainment Tonight: "I guess obviously it's an evolution in your life.

"I think it's given me more perspective on things and a chance to escape work even more and put that into context. ...I'm loving it. It's fun.

"And also you kind of live your childhood through them in many ways and it brings back lots of great memories. It's a fun journey to be on."
