SEATTLE — Brandi Carlile is kicking off 2027 back home.

When the hometown hero recently announced a limited run of all-request shows in select theaters around the country, local fans were smarting over the lack of a Seattle date. Carlile more than made it up to them on Monday, announcing a four-night run at the Paramount Theatre to end her Burn the Setlist Tour.

Joined by her bandmate besties, Tim and Phil Hanseroth, Carlile will crash the Paramount on Jan. 5, 6, 9 and 10. After fan club presales, tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday at stgpresents.org.

The trio’s Burn the Setlist Tour is something of a spinoff from Carlile’s latest arena tour, during which they took a handful of fan requests each night as a way of bringing some of the small-room intimacy from their early days to larger venues. This Burn the Setlist run takes the idea further, building the entire freewheeling sets with fan requests each night.

The rest of the tour, which immediately sold out when it was announced last month, begins Nov. 5 in Portland, Oregon.

Keeping everyone in the moment — and giving the performers some grace as they play without a script — these are phone-free shows. Fans will be required to lock their phones and electronic devices in the same Yondr pouches that Phoebe Bridgers deployed last weekend at her phoneless gig at Climate Pledge Arena.

Though Carlile is certainly capable of filling much bigger venues these days, it hasn’t been that long since her last Paramount visit. Around this time last year, the folk-rock star held an intimate listening event and acoustic concert at the downtown theater as she rolled out her latest album, “Returning to Myself.” Carlile’s eighth studio album is likely to earn the singer-songwriter another round of Grammy nods when nominations are announced next month.
