Sharon Stone has been "celibate for quite a while now".

The 68-year-old actress has revealed while she is "a really good girlfriend" in relationships, she has had "no luck at all" recently as her priorities have shifted.

She told Mayim Bialik's Breakdown podcast: "I'm a really good girlfriend, but I haven't been a girlfriend in a long time.

"And I've been a girlfriend to bad boyfriends, and I've been a girlfriend to good boyfriends. I've had good luck and bad luck and no luck at all.

"For quite a long time I've had no luck at all. I've been celibate for quite a while now because I'm just at the point where I really only want to be with someone that I care for."

Sharon - who has adopted sons Roan, 26, Laird, 21, and Quinn, 20 - noted that now her children are grown up, she is interested in "someone that's my companion, not just someone to have sex with".

She added: "I'm kind of bored with that. I'm in the no luck at all phase right now. The phase you need to be willing to be in to have the thing that I really want."

When Mayim asked the Basic Instinct star if she'd had "a great love of your life", she wasn't so sure.

She replied: "I have had loves in my life, but I don't think I've had the great love of my life."

Sharon was married to producer Michael Greenburg from 1984 and 1990, and later to journalist Phil Bronstein from 1998 to 2004, during which time she adopted eldest son Roan in 2000.

After their breakup, she went onto adopt her sons Laird and Quinn in 2005 and 2006 respectively.

Sharon previously admitted that dabbling with dating apps has been a bit of a disaster.

She told The Times newspaper back in 2024: "I didn't want to just go on Tinder and f*** somebody. Do you know what I mean? It's so easy to f*** somebody.

"You don't have to go on Tinder; you go to f***ing [coffee shop chain] Coffee Bean. It's not hard... You go to the supermarket if you just want to have sex, but if you want to have a connection... "

She also opened up about her disastrous date with a man who turned out to have a drug addiction, revealing she met him at a swanky hotel in Bel-Air but quickly excused herself and went home.

Sharon said of the experience: "[He was] a heroin addict who's clearly 20,000 injections later than the picture he sent me."
