Joe Jonas reveals 'mixed emotions' wrapping The Jonas Brothers' 20th anniversary tour

Joe Jonas experienced "a lot of mixed emotions" when he wrapped up The Jonas Brothers' 20th anniversary tour last year.
The 36-year-old singer felt proud to mark the milestone anniversary with Nick, 33, and Kevin. 38, on their 74-date North American tour, which ended at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, in December.
He told People: "That was a really special tour for us. Celebrating 20 years of the Brothers and our journey, I don't take it for granted.
"We extended that tour so long. We didn't anticipate such a reaction … to see how many people showed up and made us feel so welcome, it filled our hearts."
However, Joe felt sad that being on the road meant he was away from his and 30-year-old ex-wife, actress Sophie Turner's daughters, Willa, five, and three-year-old Delphine.
The Sucker hitmaker admitted: "It also took me away from my family, my kids for a little while. It's hard for me, when I'm touring, I can't really just take three days, four days off to go fly to be with them. So there's a lot of mixed emotions.
"I love what I do, and I'm so grateful that I can make people feel joy and happiness through music and distract them sometimes from crazy things that are going on in their own lives."
But Joe is looking forward to hitting the road again with Nick and Kevin on April 30 as they perform at the Yaamava' Resort and Casino in Highland, California, before the trio head to South America as part of their Greetings From Your Hometown Tour, which stars in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on May 6, then heads to Santiago, Chile, on May 10, and concludes in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on May 13.
Joe said: "I love touring. It's so fun. I've been just really in dad mode since January. I mean, I've been writing and stuff, but touring really has not been on my brain. So to go back out, I'm looking forward to it.
"We haven't been to some of these countries in a long time. It's overdue, and the fans are eager and patiently waiting … We've got a lot of surprises planned."
